My Journey Through Google Startup School
When Andrej Karpathy coined the term "Vibe Coding," a lot of us in the design and PM world felt seen. Finally, the barrier was breaking. We’ve always had the ideas, but we were often held back by the sheer complexity of code or the massive cost of just getting an MVP in front of a user.
Now? That barrier isn't just lower—it’s gone.
The “Mom” Test
The moment I realised the world had truly changed wasn't in a lecture—it was at home. My mom has been a tailor for 26 years, crafting clothes with a level of detail only decades of experience can bring.
Recently, she started using Gemini Nano Banana. She takes a photo of a blouse she just finished on her embroidery machine, uploads it, and prompts the AI to 'place' that exact garment onto a studio model in a high-fashion setting.
Think about that: A tailor with nearly three decades of traditional experience is now using Generative AI to handle her own professional photoshoots. It proved to me that AI isn’t a threat to craftsmanship; it’s a force multiplier for it. If she can do this, any of us can.
